About this event
Health and Wellness Committee Presents
"Optimizing Health in Older Adults"
Thursday, February 13, 2025
3:00 pm on Zoom
"I am a geriatrics physician and one of the main reasons I went into the field of geriatrics is to care for the whole person… all the parts… Body and Mind. I spend a lot of one on one time counseling my patients on what they can do to function at their highest possible level. And thus be able to enjoy life to its fullest and hopefully do what they want to do most. I look forward to my interactive wellness talk in which I will discuss best practices in nutrition, physical fitness, sleep, mental acuity and happiness."
Jennifer Rhodes-Kropf MD
Dr. Rhodes-Kropf is a graduate of Duke University and University of North Carolina Medical School. She completed her internship in internal medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and a two year geriatrics fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital with a focus in palliative medicine.
Since 2008, Dr Rhodes-Kropf is part of the Division of Geriatrics spanning Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Hebrew SeniorLife. She is faculty at Harvard Medical School and teaches trainees of all levels on best practice for caring for older adults.
