To inaugurate our relationship with this premier athletic complex, the Health Support Committee invites you to an in-person yoga demonstration class presented by Jennifer Cooper. A yoga instructor for 18 years, she currently teaches adults at Laughing Dog Yoga Studio and children at St. John's School, both in Wellesley. She also offers individual private yoga, posture, and barre classes in person or via zoom. In addition, she has led workshops for clients with Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, brain injury, vertigo, and a variety of physical limitations. In fact, Jennifer believes that improved posture and balance are available to everyone and every body. Yoga not only strengthens muscles, bones, and joints but also improves posture, body awareness, and self-confidence. During this session, Jennifer will demonstrate for us some of the seated, standing, and reclined poses she uses to customize routines and, space permitting, will give us the option to try out some of them.

Enter the Babson College campus via the main entrance on Forest St, bear right onto College Drive. At the end of College Drive, the athletic center will be on your left. Turn left at the end of the road and go to the parking lot behind the building.
