Home to a world-class collection of American art, the Addison Gallery is located on the campus of Phillips Academy in Andover, MA.  About an hour from Wellesley, it is free and will open new exhibits in September, featuring seascapes, maritime art, and new acquisitions.  The three exhibits offer a variety of subjects, media, and visions in works by both well-known and more recent artists.
Following our visit to the Addison Gallery, plans have been made to have lunch at Samuel's in the Andover Inn (opposite the Gallery).  Carpooling arrangements will be made prior to the event so please let us know on the registration page if you can drive or prefer to be a passenger. Also, indicate if you will be staying for lunch.
