When we learned about Blanche Ames Ames and her husband Oake Ames from Elizabeth Fideler, the June speaker in the WN Speaker Series, and saw some slides of their mansion in North Easton, a number of those present expressed an interest in visiting it.  The house, built in the early twentieth century, has the charm of that period but was modern in construction and convenience.  [Click here to learn more about it.] After the house tour, those interested can have lunch in North Easton and then visit the historic Richardsonian buildings there.
