Health Psychologist Kelly McGonigal invites viewers to consider another “idea worth spreading” in this 14-minute TED talk. She spent much of her professional life casting stress as a harmful and unpleasant part of our lives. She was not alone; most of us agreed. New scientific research, however, made her change her mind. It turns out that, by reframing our attitude about stress, we can become healthier and live longer! Join over 27,000,000 other people in watching her presentation. Then Rosalie Gimeno, a member of Wellesley Neighbors, will moderate our discussion of it.
