The highest paid female artist of our time. 

At  82 years of age, name by Time magazine one of 100 most influential people in the world. 

Creator of over twenty  Infinity Mirror  Room installations and over 500 paintings.

Filmmaker and actor in her own performance art pieces.

Fashion and interior designer extraordinaire.
 
Author of nineteen novels and a prolific poet,  sculptor and collage artist. 

Now 90 years old, she has spent the last 44 years at a psychiatric hospital in Tokyo,  a block from her studio, where she still works.

The discussion will be led by our own Sara-Jane Green and Rosalie Gimeno.  This event invites you  to get to know an unforgettable human being. 

P.S. Her last pumpkin painting sold for $6,900,000 at Sotheby’s. If your pockets aren’t that deep, you can go to store.moma.org, search Kusama for copies and spend anywhere from $500 for a pumpkin clutch purse to $10 for a polka-dotted plush  blue dog charm inspired by her work.
