THE WORLD ACCORDING TO
MIAMI STREET ART
Zoom Discussion on Monday, July 27 at 4:00 PM
Join us for a virtual tour of the famous Wynwood Walls Art District in Miami, Florida. Click on this link in advance of the zoom meeting to view some of the extraordinary art.
Wynwood Walls was conceived by the renowned community revitalizer and place maker, the late Tony Goldman in 2009. At that time, the abandoned warehouse area was a forgotten, ugly part of Miami. His vision to transform the district resulted in a single idea: “Wynwood’s large stock of warehouse buildings, all with no windows, would be a giant canvas to bring the greatest street art ever seen into one place.” Today, apart from the incredible street art, visitors can explore indoor art galleries, enjoy fine dining and can enjoy the bustling atmosphere of street art by some of the world’s finest artists.
Bring your opinions to the zoom meeting scheduled for Monday, July 27th at 4 pm.
