Matching Gifts

Double (or even triple) your impact!

Many employers—and sometimes even your partner’s employer—offer programs that match charitable donations made by employees, retirees, or their spouses. This is an easy way to multiply the power of your gift to Wellesley Neighbors at no additional cost to you.

Check with your HR or benefits office to see if your employer participates, and don’t forget to complete the Matching Gift section on our donation form.

Wellesley Neighbors offers a lasting way to celebrate and honor the people who matter most. A gift made in memory of a loved one—or in recognition of someone who has touched your life—creates a meaningful legacy while supporting our mission.

Estate gifts—whether through a will, trust, retirement account, or life insurance policy—are a meaningful way to extend your impact well beyond your lifetime. Resources are available to assist with planning if needed.

IRA Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs)

If you are age 70½ or older, you can make tax-free gifts directly from your IRA to Wellesley Neighbors. These gifts, called Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs), allow you to transfer up to $100,000 each year to a qualified nonprofit without increasing your taxable income. For those age 73 and older, QCDs also count toward your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) for the year. Normally, withdrawals from a traditional IRA are taxed as income—but with a QCD, the distribution goes directly to Wellesley Neighbors and remains completely tax-free.

This makes QCDs a simple and tax-smart way to support our mission while meeting your IRA requirements.
