Membership types and dues 

Wellesley Neighbors offers annual memberships that give you access to all our services and activities, including service referrals, volunteer support, area discounts, transportation and more. 

Annual Membership: 

>  Individual: $365/year ($1/day)

>  Two person Household:   $530/year

New Member Discount (First Year Only)
New members enjoy a reduced rate for their first year of membership. 
>  Individual: $275 
>  Two person Household: $400


Trial Membership (6 month option)
If you’d like to experience Wellesley Neighbors before committing to a full year:

>  Individual: $185
>  Two person Household: $265


Affordable Access Memberships
Reduced-rate memberships are available for qualifying low- and moderate-income individuals.

Why Do We Charge for Membership?

Like all nonprofit organizations, Wellesley Neighbors relies on steady funding to keep our programs and services running smoothly. While we are fortunate to receive grants and donations, these resources alone cannot cover all of our expenses. Membership fees are an important part of our financial foundation. Membership fees help us:

• Support our staff ensuring we have dedicated professionals to coordinate services, manage volunteers, and keep everything running efficiently.

• Maintain operations covering essential costs such as insurance, software, printing, and administrative costs.

• Deliver services supporting volunteer vetting and training, transportation coordination, social and educational programming, and access to vetted service providers.

• Sustain our mission guaranteeing  members can count on reliable help, engaging activities, and a caring community of support.

Our membership rates remain among the most affordable of any Village in the region. By design, our dues are lower than many similar organizations, making it possible for more older adults to participate, regardless of income level.

Membership fees help keep Wellesley Neighbors strong and sustainable. While donations and grants cover much of our budget, membership dues ensure we can maintain professional staff, coordinate volunteers, and offer the programs and services that make our community thrive. Your dues are not just a fee—they are an investment in independence, connection, and peace of mind, ensuring that Wellesley Neighbors will be here for you and your neighbors today and in the future.
