The Vokes Players end their 2026 season with a dramatic comedy that relates to predicaments many families encounter when gathering for bereavement occasions. Of course many memories of happy events, like weddings and births, surface as well. In this play, the family's grief gives rise to story-telling and the consideration of the bereaved’s own mortality.  As the liquor starts flowing, long-simmering arguments come up again. There is a happy ending, thankfully, as the arguments dissolve into self-discovery that brings everyone from their mourning and back into their lives in a fuller, richer way.
