Castle Island is a 22-acre public park and scenic peninsula in South Boston that juts into Boston Harbor. A paved, looping boardwalk and path system of about two miles surrounds Pleasure Bay and offers beautiful views of Fort Independence, one of the oldest continuously fortified sites of English origin in the United States. Take advantage of this opportunity to enjoy summer with your WN friends at one of the area’s most spectacular seaside parks. Then relax with coffee or breakfast just the way you like it. Sullivan's at Castle Island is a walk-up fast food stand, or we can go to a fun restaurant like Amrheins for breakfast.
