Join fellow members as we gather to cheer on Charlie Katsikaris, who is running the Boston Marathon in support of Wellesley Neighbors. Charlie has committed to raising at least $5,000 to help support our programs.
Our main gathering spot will be at 35 College Road, Wellesley, the home of Adele Langevin and Fred Breimyer. From there we’ll walk together to the “Entering Wellesley” sign along the marathon route to cheer Charlie on as he runs through town. Joan will bring signs, water, snacks, Wellesley Neighbors hats, a few chairs, and a cart to transport it all so we can settle in and make some noise.
On Marathon Day, College Road is accessible from Route 9. Additional informal gathering spots may form along the course, including locations accessed from Crest Road via Linden Street or near the Papa Razzi area.
Bring your Wellesley Neighbors hat (Joan will drop off to you just email her at director@wellesleyneighbors.org), your loudest cheering voice, and your community spirit as we help carry Charlie through Wellesley!!
