It has become a Wellesley Neighbors tradition to have a Thanksgiving lunch at the Wayside Inn, the oldest continuously operating inn in the United States. This year, again, we will have our private room with a high ceiling and a three course meal (see menu). It is difficult to describe how wonderful the meal, the company, and the setting was last year. Please join us again, or anew, this year to celebrate the season and enjoy the warmth of good company and excellent food.
MENU:
Grist Mill Bakery Basket + Mixed Green Salad, House Vinaigrette
You will be able to choose from the following menu at the luncheon
Wayside Inn Yankee Pot Roast, Jardinière Sauce
Roast Native Turkey, Cornbread and Sausage Stuffing
Boston Baked Scrod, Lemon Butter Sauce
Seasonal Ravioli
Deep Dish Apple Pie with Whipped Cream
Coffee, Tea or Decaf
Meeting Point: At the top of the stairs
Cost of three course meal plus coffee or tea: $38 (including tax and tip)
Cost of alcoholic beverages (and tips for them) to be paid at the bar.
Payment:
Please bring cash or a check payable to Catherine Connor and give it to her in the lobby upon arrival. (If you register for this event but choose not to attend, please remember to make arrangements to pay Catherine for the meal she will have purchased for you.)
Parking: In back or across the road.
Carpools can be arranged.
