Wellesley Neighbors Events - Event View

"Having grown up in the Metro-west area and attending multiple Boston Marathon’s just feet from the official starting line, running the 129th Boston Marathon while making an impact on a special organization is a dream come true. After completing undergrad and living in Philadelphia for a few years, I moved back to the Boston area where I met my wife Kim and we had our first (fur) child, Ellie, a black lab who is now 14 years young!  Kim, Ellie and I moved to New York for business school and lived in Connecticut for a period of time after completing my MBA where we welcomed our twin boys, Jack and Henry, now 10-years old.  We moved back to the Boston area for a new job and have settled in Wellesley where our boys are active in the Bates community and playing lots of lacrosse and soccer. As a collegiate soccer player, getting to spend weekends on the sidelines coaching my boys and their buddies is special and something I cherish.  Our family now includes Sadie, a three-year old black lab, and many adventures on Cape Cod in the summer and skiing in Vermont during the winter. With support from the Wellesley community, our friends, family and broader community and networks it’s been easy to carve out early, cold mornings for my training.  We are beyond excited for the 129th running of the Boston Marathon and incredibly grateful to run in support of Wellesley Neighbors!"
