Cafe Mangal and Moldova Restaurant have similar histories. Both were established thanks to a graduate student's arrival, in this case from Moldova, to earn an MBA in Boston. He and his family settled in a multicultural area of Newton where they opened a small restaurant. With the help of a Moldovan chef, hard work, and the recipes of the great cooks in his family, it has achieved a coveted reputation. Enjoy the rustic, peasant fare, the hearty specialties of Eastern Mediterranean cuisine refined by Moldovan touches.
